As soon as you enter Urban Fondue, your senses are bombarded with a sultry vibe complimented by ultra low lighting and oversized tufted booths. Each booth has a set of throw pillows to add to your comfort, and when you are seated, you sink deliciously. Spoiler warning: you might never have the desire to get up.

For your first course, you are offered a litany of cheese fondues, complete with a very generous plate of bread. The ruby port fondue is exceptional, and one could almost just sit and enjoy that the entire evening. The service from the beginning is excellent.

For your main course, you are instructed by your waiter on how to use the charming 3-minute hourglass timers. Each person receives their own personal timer and color-ended skewers. You are able to pick your own entrée plate, and they vary from "surf and turf" to vegetarian options. Your entrée not only comes with your meat or protein of choice, but also pesto ravioli and an assortment of vegetables. With your timer and skewers you are able to cook your own food in a chef-suggested broth of choice for your entrée. The crux of the entrée experience is the large variation of dipping sauces. Some suggestions are the blackberry sauce for red meats and the thai-peanut sauce or garlic butter for the poultry and seafood.

The evening ends with a delicious chocolate fondue of choice, with 12 options to choose from. An accompanying plate of cheesecake, cookie dough, angel food cake, fresh fruit, dried fruits and also marshmallows is provided, to your delight.
